Beatles Ashram, previously known as Chaurasi Kutia, gained its fame after the popular Beatles Band of Liverpool came to reside there in 1968. The band members stayed and practiced meditation in this quaint Ashram and also composed several great songs there. The band visited Ashram to attend a special meditation program conducted by Saint Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. After they left, the Ashram became abandoned and reopened for the visitors in the year 2015. Since then, the ashram has been visited by many local and foreign travelers. Most of the travelers are huge fans of Beatles band.
The place is an immense attraction for meditation enthusiasts, serenity and peace seekers, nature lovers, experience seekers, history buffs, and photo fanatics. The Ashram has many attractions to witness like a striking dome-shaped construction, astonishing graffiti works and a beautiful picture of the Beatles Band members painted on the interior walls of the Ashram’s Ved Bhavan.
